Portrait of woman in pastel.

The characterization of a person as “beautiful”, whether on an individual basis or by community consensus, is often based on some combination of inner beauty, which includes psychological factors such as personality, intelligence, grace, politeness, charisma, integrity, congruence and elegance, and outer beauty (i.e. physical attractiveness) which includes physical attributes which are valued on an aesthetic basis.
Standards of beauty have changed over time, based on changing cultural values. Historically, paintings show a wide range of different standards for beauty. However, humans who are relatively young, with smooth skin, well-proportioned bodies, and regular features, have traditionally been considered the most beautiful throughout history.
Real, natural, strong, and powerful beauty comes from within your heart. It blossoms like a rose in spring and encourages such an alluring, captivating, exquisite spirit that can not be contained. A confident woman is a force to be reckoned with! Nothing can stop her, and nothing can get her down. I have both witnessed and experienced this. I have been where many of you have been, currently are, and, sadly, will be. I have hit rock bottom more than once. But I have come so far where I used to be with the realization I am about to share with you. From one woman to another, take these words fully: you are beautiful, just the way you are. You, right now, as you are reading this, are enough. In this moment. Today, tomorrow, and forever. Just as you are. Be confident with the person you have grown to be. There will never be another you, so why would you try to be like someone else? Beauty comes in different forms for every woman. Natural, wonderful, healthy, fabulous, unique. That’s what you are, and that’s what beauty is.
The PICTURE IS EXCELLENT and my girlfriend loves it—the MORE she looks at it the MORE she sees herself in it!!
She keeps going over the nose, the eyes, the forehead…she is very, very pleased. It is a very unique piece. Honestly, her initial reaction was……simply quiet. She kept looking at it and ( not finding fault but) saying ‘ I can see myself in the drawing but it makes me look almost Native Indian? Then she said,” no the hair makes me look SPANISH in a way—kinda like a South American Inca type…. Then she said do I look Mexican?>…she was all over the place…. She is so proud of being a Black .
The designs in the background or the flower in her hair that gave the ‘Spanish” impression to her.
You have captured her features perfectly….all of them as I mentioned I THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this for me Julia!! It is simply excellent!
